It was happening at one point of time. We tried really hard to work it out, but somehow it didn’t happen. I don’t know what exactly was the reason. I believe it was the budget of the film. It’s a very high-budget film. So now the film has been pushed," he explained.
Meanwhile, fans hoping for a sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan may not have to wait too long. Salman teased that the project is in the works but added with a laugh, “A sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan can be made, but the problem is, by the time it’s ready, Munni will be speaking!"

Salman said, “Eid, Diwali, New Year, festive, non-festive, it’s the love of the people and picture achi ho ya buri ho, wo sau [Rs 100 crore] toh paar kara hi dete hain (laughs)." He immediately corrected himself and said that the number was Rs 200 crore. “Rs 100 crore bohot pehle ki baat hain (Rs 100 crore is a thing of the past)," he added.
