SEVENTEEN fans have every reason to celebrate as the beloved K-pop group is set for a spectacular comeback in 2025 with their fifth full-length album, HAPPY BURSTDAY. The big reveal comes seven months after the release of their previous album, SPILL THE FEELS, which dropped in October. Circle May 26 on your calendar because the comeback coincides with SEVENTEEN’s milestone 10th debut anniversary, making the day even more meaningful. The group has already dropped a teaser, hinting at a jam-packed season ahead, including a brand-new tour, a unit single album, and even more surprises yet to be unveiled.

All the 13 members, S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino, who first started their journey on May 26, 2015, with their debut EP 17 Carat, helped in making and recording the new album. Even Jeonghan and Wonwoo, who are now preparing for their military service, took part in the album before leaving. The title HAPPY BURSTDAY is a mix of two words, birthday and burst. It shows the strong and exciting energy SEVENTEEN wants to bring. After ten years together, the group wants to start fresh, try new things and show a bold and different side of themselves.

During the time, Seungkwan assured fans about an upcoming tour, and without revealing any details about it, he said, “We know how much our fans are waiting for us there. I can’t say for sure at this point in time, but we’re definitely talking to the company, and we want to make it happen."

SEVENTEEN’s new album, HAPPY BURSTDAY, news comes just weeks after Hoshi and Woozi released music as a new duo. Their unit debuted on March 10 with a single album called Beam. It included the main track, 96ers and two other songs, Stupid Idiot and Pinocchio. This duo is the second subunit from the group to share new music in 2025. Earlier, another unit called BSS, made up of Hoshi, DK and Seungkwan, released their single album Teleparty last month.
