SEVENTEEN's Hoshi Sparks Concerns Among Fans After Unusual Stage Appearance
Fans noticed how the singer's lips have been changing colour during his performances.

Hoshi, a popular South Korean singer and member of the beloved K-pop boy band SEVENTEEN, recently launched his first single album, Beam, with co-member Woozi, under the subunit Hoshi X Woozi. While the duo has been impressing fans with their fresh music and energetic vibes, one of their recent performances has left many concerned. Hoshi and Woozi recently performed 96ers, the title track of their single album, setting the stage on fire with addictive music and electrifying moves.
With multiple clips from the event going viral on social media, fans have noticed an unusual change in Hoshi’s lip colour, which many claimed to change colour throughout his course on the stage. Fans shared how the singer’s lips went from a lighter shade of pink to purple and even darker till the end.

A concerned fan added, “Hoshi! Please take care of yourself! I don’t want to see those purple/ blue lips after the performance. Please take some rest."
One shared how the singer was seen rubbing his chest while performing, exhibiting discomfort. “I saw a kcarat comment saying Hoshi was rubbing his chest while performing. Chest pains & blue lips aren’t normal, Please force Hoshi to rest & have a cardio checkup. This could lead to fainting & heart-stopping. This is dangerous. It’s giving me anxiety," the comment read.

As soon as the videos came out, CARATs (fandom) in large numbers urged SEVENTEEN’s agency, Pledis Entertainment, to prioritise the singer’s health and focus on him taking rest. One wrote, “I don’t want to think bad things, but this isn’t the first time Hoshi’s lips have changed colour after performing. So @pledis_17 please, do what you have to do for your artist especially since he’s going to be enlisting in just a few month."
Earlier this month, the SEVENTEEN members released their first single album, Beam, along with a music video for the title track, 96ers. The duo is the second sub-unit of the boy band to release music in 2025 after Hoshi, DK, and Seungkwan came out with the Teleparty single in February this year.
