Sikandar Advance Booking: Salman Khan Film Earns Over Rs 8 Crore Ahead Of Its Release
Delhi and Maharashtra have emerged as the top-performing markets for Salman Khan's highly-anticipated film, Sikandar.
Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of his much-awaited movie, Sikandar. Fans are eagerly waiting for the film, which recently opened advance bookings. And now, if latest reports are to be believed, the A R Murugadoss directorial has already crossed the Rs 8 crore mark in its earnings via advance bookings.

As reported by Sacnilk, Sikandar has received an overwhelming response since its advance bookings were opened earlier this year. The film has reportedly sold over one lakh tickets, taking its advance booking collection to Rs 8.81 crore. The majority of the ticket sales are from the film’s 2D format. The rest are from IMAX 2D screenings.
Besides this, it has also been reported that Delhi and Maharashtra have emerged as the top-performing markets for Salman Khan’s Sikandar. As per the latest advance booking numbers, Delhi takes the lead with an impressive Rs 70.83 lakhs. It is followed by Maharashtra with Rs 63.74 lakhs in advance sales.
Sikandar is one of Sajid Nadiadwala’s most ambitious projects, directed by AR Murugadoss. Besides Salman Khan, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead.
Recently, at the trailer launch event of the movie, the Bollywood superstar was seen talking about his experience working on the Sikandar sets. Khan shared an interesting anecdote to reveal how Murugadoss constantly pushed him, especially in action sequences, to bring out his best. Salman also revealed that he did early morning shoots for Sikandar, something which he has always avoided before for his previous films.
Meanwhile, Sikandar also boasts stunning cinematography by S. Thirunavukarasu, with Vivek Harshan handling the edits. Pritam has composed the soundtrack, featuring lyrics by Sameer, while the background score has been crafted by acclaimed South Indian composer Santhosh Narayanan.
Sikandar is set to hit the big screen on March 30, perfectly timed with Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations.
