Tamannaah Bhatia, known as 'Milky Beauty,' ignored comments about her complexion at the airport but later wished paps a Happy New Year.
Tamannaah Bhatia is fondly called ‘Milky Beauty’ by her fans due to her complexion, a nickname which she takes in her stride. However, she knows when to ignore unnecessary comments about her skin colour. Recently, the actor was spotted at the airport, where paps asked her why she is so fair. While the Aaj Ki Raat star chose to ignore the comment, she later smiled at the paps bidding them goodbye.
Tamannaah wore a plain black halter-neck dress for her airport OOTD. She paired it with a grey shawl. She was clicked by paps while walking towards her car. Praising her complexion, a paparazzo said, “Arre itna light mat maaro, ma’am jal rahi hain (Don’t flash so much of light, she is burning)." Another asked her, “Ma’am, itne gore kyu hain aap? (Why are you so fair?)." The actor didn’t react to any of the comments and kept walking. Meanwhile, Tamannaah recently attended the press conference of her upcomimg film, Odela 2. At the event, a visibly irked Tamannaah maintained her poise while responding to a female reporter who asked director Ashok Teja, “Why did you look at a ‘Milky Beauty’ and think that she could be a Shiva Shakti?"
Tamannaah responded to the question with the utmost grace. She said, “Your question has the answer in it. He doesn’t look at ‘Milky Beauty’ as something that is to be shamed or feel bad about. Glamour, in a woman, is to be celebrated. And we women must celebrate ourselves. Then we can expect other people to celebrate us. If we look at us in a certain way then nobody can respect us. Here, we have a wonderful gentleman who doesn’t look at women like that. He looks at women like divine. And divine can be glamorous, lethal, and powerful. A woman can be many-many things."
