Actress Sadia Khateeb is winning hearts with her performance in The Diplomat, which also stars John Abraham. Well, recently the actress made a shocking revelation that she was initially offered the lead role of Laila in the romantic drama Laila Majnu. However, at the time, she dismissed the opportunity, thinking it was a fake call.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Sadia spoke about this and said, “That’s how it all started. I was an engineering student. I’m from Jammu & Kashmir, and had no background in acting. They asked me to play Laila and I blocked the number, thinking it’s a fake call. Imagine if you’re living in a small town, would you have any idea who’s actually casting in Mumbai? It can be human trafficking!" Later, Triptii Dimri was seen in the lead role with Avinash Tiwary.
