'Truly Blessed': Shilpa Shirodkar Offers Prayers At Ambaji Mata Shakti Peeth Before Telugu Debut

Veteran actress Shilpa Shirodkar is known for her iconic performances in multiple Hindi films over the years. The Kishen Kanhaiya actress recently made it to the headlines quite a number of times with her impactful stint in the popular reality show Bigg Boss 18. From making friends with her BB18 housemates to getting involved in multiple controversies inside the house, the actress has constantly grabbed attention. Now that she is gearing up for her upcoming film Jatadhara, she visited the Ambaji Mata Shakti Peeth temple in Gujarat and made her fans a part of her devotional experience.
On Instagram, Shilpa Shirodkar posted glimpses from her recent spiritual journey to Ambaji Mata Shakti Peeth temple in Gujarat. In the photos, the Gopi Kishan actress can be seen taking part in many puja rituals with utmost devotion. The opening frame of her post featured her standing in front of the temple with her face towards the sun and folded hands. The entire atmosphere of the temple seemed very peaceful and surreal. For the day, the actress was seen dressed in a multi-coloured long kurta and donning a red dupatta, which she seemingly received during her grand welcome by the temple authorities.

Shilpa’s expressions conveyed her deep connection with the sacred place, and alongside the pictures, she expressed her gratitude. The Khuda Gawah actress also talked about her upcoming movie, Jatadhara, and described her spiritual journey as extremely special due to the same. “Truly blessed to have visited the #AmbajiMataShaktiPeeth temple in Gujarat. It was a beautiful feeling, full of positivity and divinity. #Jatadhara is a film that’s truly special and an experience that I will cherish forever!" read her note.
The Kishen Kanhaiya actress’s post received a lot of appreciation from her fans, who dropped heartfelt reactions on her post’s comment section. One user wrote, “Wow nice maam sun le bhagwan ji aapki vichar ko (God will listen to your thoughts)." Another mentioned, “You will be fine my darling it comes naturally to you …the acting best wishes…miss you heaps n." Yet another fan noticed, “Floor garam hai…Shilpa ma’am ke pair jal rahe bt photo liya… (The floor is hot… Shilpa Maa’s feet are burning, still she took a photo…) Great dedication ma’am," indicating in one of her photos in which she was seen lifting her foot a bit.
Shilpa Shirodkar last appeared in the 2020 film Guns Of Banaras, directed by Sekhar Suri. It is a remake of the 2007 Tamil film Polladhavan which also stars Karan Nath, Nathalia, Zarina Wahab, Vinod Khanna, Abhimanyu Singh and Tej Sapru in key roles.
Now, she is all set to make her Tollywood debut with the upcoming film Jatadhara, a supernatural thriller film.
