Watch: Sunny Deol Greets Fans With Folded Hands Ahead Of Jaat Trailer Launch
Jaat features Randeep Hooda, Regina Cassandra, Viineet Kumar Siingh, Siyami Kher, Zarina Wahab and Prashant Wahab in significant roles.
Sunny Deol is gearing up for the release of his upcoming action thriller film Jaat. The film has been creating a lot of buzz on social media ever since the makers dropped its official teaser in December. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, it is set for a grand theatrical release on April 10. Ahead of its premiere, Sunny was recently snapped in the city and his humility towards his fans once again won millions of hearts.
In a video shared on Instagram, the Gadar actor is seen sitting inside his car with some of his fans greeting the actor with cheers. Sunny, on the other hand, responded with folded hands. He wore a black t-shirt paired with a matching bucket hat.

Recently, the makers of Jaat announced the film’s trailer release date. Taking to Instagram, Mythri Movie Makers informed that the much-awaited trailer for Jaat is set to release on March 22 with a grand launch event scheduled at Jaipur’s Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium, starting at 5 PM.
Sharing a new poster of the film, they wrote, “Get ready for action like you’ve never witnessed before. #JaatTrailer out on March 22nd. #JAAT Grand Trailer Launch event at Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium, Jaipur from 5 PM onwards."

The film also features Randeep Hooda, Regina Cassandra, Viineet Kumar Siingh, Siyami Kher, Zarina Wahab and Prashant Wahab in significant roles. Jaat’s action scenes have been directed by Anl Arasu, Venkat and Ram Laxman, the soundtrack has been composed by S Thama and its cinematography was carried out by Rishi Punjabi.
Recently, reports suggested that Sunny will also be seen in a family drama film tentatively titled Safar. Quoting a source, Mid-Day reported, “The film contains no action; instead, it focuses on Sunny’s middle-aged family man, who realises that happiness can only be found by helping others and discovers the true purpose of life."
The source further revealed that instead of theatres, the makers are planning to release the film on a digital platform. It is expected to premiere online by the end of 2025. However, an official announcement of the film is still awaited.
Apart from this, Sunny also has a period drama Lahore 1947 with Preity Zinta and an action war film Border 2 with Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Ahan Shetty in his kitty.
