However, an actor recently claimed that he is more disciplined than Akshay Kumar. And it’s none other than John Abraham, who is admired not just for his remarkable performances but also for his dedication to fitness and healthy living.

During a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, John opened up about his bond with Akshay, with whom he had shared screen space in films like Garam Masala, Desi Boyz and Housefull 2. Speaking about their similar lifestyle choices, the Dhoom actor said, “We both wake up early; we both sleep early. He’s truly very disciplined."

He further quipped, “I think I’m a bit more disciplined but let him take that throne of being disciplined."

In addition to this, John also spoke about the duo reuniting for another comedy film anytime soon. When asked if there would be a sequel to Garam Masala or Desi Boyz, he replied, “Yes, we are extremely thrilled about making one or both of those films happen because they will be fun. Working with Akshay is like taking a vacation. He’s a good guy. So we’ll have a good time."

The Vedaa actor added, “I don’t think two actors have had the kind of chemistry Akshay and I have had."

Back in 2022, producer Anand Pandit announced that he was working on a sequel to the 2011 comedy film Desi Boyz, starring Akshay, John, Deepika Padukone and Chitrangada Singh. However, an update regarding the sequel and its star cast is still awaited.

Talking about John, he is currently enjoying the fans’ positive response to his recently released political thriller film The Diplomat. Directed by Shivam Nair and backed by Bhushan Kumar and John himself, the film also features Sadia Khateeb, Kumud Mishra, Sharib Hashmi and Revathy in pivotal roles.

The film follows J. P. Singh, a real-life Indian diplomat. His world is turned upside down when Uzma Ahmed, a lady requesting refugee status, arrives at the embassy. Uzma claims to be an Indian citizen who was abducted by Buner and forced to marry a Pakistani man named Tahir.

Apart from this, John will be next seen in films like Tehran and Tariq.
