When Jung Kyung Ho Revealed Girlfriend Sooyoung’s Reaction To His Kiss Scene With Jeon Do Yeon
Jung Kyung Ho had nothing but admiration for his co-star Jeon Do Yeon, who is one of Korea’s most esteemed and respected actresses.
Crash Course in Romance, a romantic comedy K-drama starring Jung Kyung Ho and Jeon Do Yeon, was one of the standout shows of 2023. Following its massive success, Jung Kyung Ho shared his experience working with Jeon Do Yeon, his romantic interest in the show. He also opened up about his longtime girlfriend, Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, and her reaction to one of the steamy kiss scenes in the drama.
In an interview with Wikitree back in 2023, Kyung Ho had nothing but admiration for his co-star Jeon Do Yeon, who is one of Korea’s most esteemed and respected actresses. When asked about his on-screen chemistry, the actor humbly attributed it to Do Yeon’s skills. He said, “I dare to say I don’t think there is an actor who wouldn’t be a good fit for Jeon Do Yeon sunbaenim. It doesn’t make sense for anyone not to be a good fit with her. I think it is impossible not to have chemistry with her. I guess because the script was so good, we were good together."

Kyung Ho continued talking about how much he learned from his co-star, saying, “Sunbaenim doesn’t lie in her acting. I, personally, have acted out scenes that I wasn’t very happy with, but I was shocked seeing how sunbaenim spoke and expressed herself as Haeng Seon. I felt she was someone who was very transparent and didn’t lie. I learned a lot from her in that regard."
After this, he was asked about his kiss scene with the actress. Kyung Ho was questioned on how his longtime girlfriend reacted upon seeing his passionate kiss scene with Jeon Do Yeon. Despite the direct question, the actor handled it with much grace, choosing to keep his private life exactly that– private.
“I didn’t ask my girlfriend (about the kiss), so I don’t know," he said curtly, effectively shutting down any unnecessary rumours or gossip about his private life. He further added, “Kiss scenes are embarrassing, but I guess it’s something I’m going to have to get used to."
FYI, Jung Kyung Ho and his girlfriend Choi Soo Young, aka Sooyoung, have been together for over 12 years. Back in 2014, the two confirmed their relationship in public, revealing that they had been together since early 2013.
Speaking of Jung Kyung Ho’s work front, the 41-year-old actor had a cameo in the K-drama Wedding Impossible. As of now, he has Labor Attorney Noh Moo-jin in the pipeline.
