Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are currently in London where they are living a calm life away from all the glitz and glamour. They moved out of India in 2024 but keep visiting the country for work commitments. However, the real reason behind Anushka and Virat’s decision to move to London has been revealed now.
Just a few months back, Madhuri Dixit’s husband, Dr Sriram Nene, who runs a health and wellness YouTube channel, welcomed YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast when the two discussed their admiration for Virat Kohli.

During their interaction, Dr Nene recalled his conversation with Anushka when he said, “I’ll tell you something, and this is what you learn, they all put their pants on one leg at a time. We had a conversation with Anushka one day, and it was very interesting. They were thinking about moving to London because they can’t enjoy their success (here). And we appreciate what they go through, because anything they do attracts attention. We almost become isolated."
Dr Nene then talked about his complicated relationship with fame and revealed that Anushka and Virat also moved to London because they want to raise their children away from all the glitz and glamour.
“I get along with everyone; I’m bindaas. But even there, it becomes challenging. There’s always a selfie moment. Not in a bad way, but there comes a time when it becomes intrusive, when you’re at dinner or lunch, and you have to be polite about it. For my wife, it becomes an issue. But (Anushka and Virat) are lovely people, and they just want to raise their kids normally," he added.
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli first met in 2013 while shooting for a television commercial. The two fell in love with each other but kept their relationship under wraps. In 2017, they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Italy. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl in January 2021 and named her Vamika. Later in February 2024, they became proud parents to a baby boy and named in Akaay.
