Taapsee is arriving in Bollywood with David Dhawan's 'Chashme Baddoor'. She is olaying the love interest of three boys in it.
Taapsee was born on August 1 to a Punjabi family in Delhi. The actress has done it all from modelling to films. She continues to rule the Southern cinema and now has made it to the B-Town.
Taapsee entered into modelling after she got selected for Channel V's talent show 'Get Gorgeous', Currently, She endorses brands such as Coca Cola, PVR Cinemas, Tata Docomo and Airtel.
Taapsee debuted in Telugu films with 'Jhummandi Nadaam', which was directed by K Raghavendra Rao. Manoj Manchu was the hero in the film. The actress played the role of an NRI in the film who comes to India to research on music.
Just one film old in the Southern film industry, Taapsee was roped in to play the lead opposite superstar Dhanush in 'Adukalam'. The film was directed by Vetrimaran.
Taapsee got noticed for her sheer simplicity in the film. She was nominated for several awards for her 'Adukalam' act.
She also featured in a bilingual film 'Gundello Godari', which was directed by Kumar Nagendra. The film was based on the plight of two people who get trapped in a flood.
Ajith-Taapsee starrer Tamil film 'Valai' is one of the most awaited releases of the year in South. Nayantara and Arya are also playing key roles in the film.
'Vandhaan Vendraan' came as a big break in Taapsee's film career. Her pairing with Jiiva was liked in the film.
Taapse starred in an action film 'Vastadu Naa Raju' by Hemant Madhukar opposite Vishnu Manchu. The actress established a glamorous image for herself with this film.
Malayalam film 'Doubles' was special for Taapsee as she played the leading lady opposite superstar Mammooty in it.
