I&B minister Manish Tewari presented the award to Pran at his residence in Mumbai.

Due to health reasons, Pran could not be present to receive the award in person at New Delhi.

Also, no one from his family was present either to receive the award on behalf of the 93-year-old.

So Manish Tiwari personally visited the actor's Mumbai residence to bestow him with the award.
