The 17th edition of the Paralympic Games was declared open with a colourful ceremony at the French Capital with a parade of participating teams at the iconic Palace de la Concorde on Wednesday.
The 17th Paralympic Games kicked off at the French Capital City of Paris on Wednesday as over 4,400 athletes from 182 countries will compete across 22 sporting disciplines and 549 medal events at the 2024 edition of the sporting extravaganze.
