India at Paris Paralympics 2024 Highlights: Here are the highlights from Day 10 of the Paralympics 2024 as two Indians won medals.

India at Paris Paralympics 2024 HIGHLIGHTS: India’s athletes continue to create history in Paris with the nation’s medal tally rising to a new high of 27 thanks to Praveen Kumar and Hokato Hotozhe Sema. While Praveen won a gold in the men’s high jump, Hokato took bronze in the shot put event on Friday. This is India’s best-ever haul at a Paralympics and it could improve further with three athletes taking part in the finals of their respective events today.
Navdeep Singh got gold in the men’s Javelin F41 as Simran Sharma won bronze in the women’s 200m – T12 event to take India’s medal tally to 29.
After 10 days of the quadrennial sporting spectacle, India have won seven gold, nine silver and 13 bronze medals.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Saturday announced a cash award of Rs one crore, 500 sq yards of land at Warangal and a suitable post in Group-II Services for Deepthi Jeevanji, who won a bronze medal in the Paris Paralympics.
Reddy also announced Rs 10 lakh to her coach N Ramesh, a Dronacharya awardee, an official release said.
Deepthi Jeevanji , India’s world champion, won a bronze medal in the women’s 400m T20 category race, clocking 55.82 seconds in the Paris Paralympics recently.
