Rohan Bopanna's Rajasthan Rangers To Lock Horns With Sumit Nagal's Gujarat Panthers in TPL Season 6 Opener
The opening ceremony will be graced by legendary Indian player Leander Paes, while Bollywood actresses Sonali Bendre and Taapsee Pannu will also be in attendance during their teams’ opening games.

The much-awaited season 6 of Tennis Premier League (TPL) is all set to kick off on December 3, 2024 at Cricket Club of India (CCI), Mumbai and will run till December 8, 2024. The opening ceremony will be graced by legendary Indian player Leander Paes, while Bollywood actresses Sonali Bendre, who is the brand ambassador of Chennai Smashers and Taapsee Pannu, co-owner of the Punjab Patriots’ will also be in attendance during their teams’ opening games.
TPL Season 6 will see eight teams battling it out against each other with Rohan Bopanna’s Rajasthan Rangers taking on Sumit Nagal’s Gujarat Panthers in the first match of the day.

Co-founders Kunal Thakkur and Mrunal Jain expressed delight on the beginning of season 6 of TPL.
“We are all excited for the sixth edition of TPL. The journey has been very good so far and we hope to make this season bigger and better. I wish luck to all the players and the teams," Kunal Thakkur said.
“It feels so great that we are starting the sixth edition of TPL. We have some big and prominent names in the ranks and I wish all the franchises and the players all the best for the tournament," Mrunal Jain said.
Hyderabad Strikers will lock horns with Bengal Wizards in the second encounter, followed by the match between Punjab Patriots and Mumbai Eagles. Bengaluru SG Pipers and Chennai Smashers will be in action against each other in the final fixture of the opening day. The semi-finals and final of the competition is scheduled to take place on December 8, 2024.
The sixth edition of TPL promises to be much more exciting and exhilarating as it will feature top domestic and international tennis talents with the likes of Sumit Nagal, Rohan Bhopanna, Hugo Gatson, among many others.
