Priority Notifications
Apple is using AI to offer alerts that will be important for the users. It will be processing the content on-device which keeps the data private. The company assures the feature is disabled by default and you can go to Settings – Notifications to try out the new AI-powered feature on select iPhone models.
Apple AI Support For India
Apple has allowed people in countries like India to use the AI features by setting the default language as US English but that finally changes to local settings with the iOS 18.4 version. Yes, you can choose the Indian English option from the drop down menu for Apple AI. Apple is also bringing support for French, German, Korean and Japanese on Apple AI with this version.
Sketch In Image Playground
Apple’s AI image tool is now getting the Sketch option along with the existing animation and illustration types. You can choose between either of these styles and use the prompt to create the AI-powered image using the Image Playground app on the iPhone.
Other Changes Available
Apple is now giving the option set preferred language in Maps, and you can even set a default app for translation.
But Siri AI Still Missing
One more iOS 18 beta has come and still no sign of the big Siri AI upgrade or at least some hint around its availability. The company seems to have hit more roadblocks with its roll out plans for the AI voice assistant and going by reports the iOS 18.5 version in May could be the final reckoning for this push and we are hoping it happens soon.
