Aly Goni Has A Message For Khadaan Fans: ‘Thank You For Showing So Much Love’
Aly Goni explained that his role in Khadaan is something completely different from what he has done before.
Aly Goni is back on screen with his latest crime thriller, Khadaan. The series, directed by Yunus Bukhari and Gagan Puri, is already creating a buzz. Aly plays the role of a righteous police officer, Veer Pratap Singh, in the series. The show also features other actors including Karanveer Bohra, Rebecca Anand, Jinal Joshi and Divya Sharma in pivotal roles.
On March 24, Aly took to social media to express his gratitude for the support from viewers. He thanked everyone who watched Khadaan and even gave a shoutout to those who hadn’t caught it yet.

In his post, he shared, “Thank you so much for showing so much love to Khadaan. Jisne nahi dekha, woh dekho on Hungama OTT!" His message was accompanied by a clip showing him, Jinal and Rebecca in their intense, gripping roles.

Earlier, Aly shared the trailer for Khadaan where he is seen making his entry as Veer, the new inspector of a cursed village. In this gripping crime thriller, Veer sets out to solve a series of murders near a coal mine with his team. But he faces several obstacles like villagers’ belief in supernatural forces, misleading clues and the menacing village goon, Mahipal. As Veer digs deeper into the case, he finds himself facing threats and danger at every turn.

Aly spoke about the experience of playing Veer to IANS where he explained that the role was something completely different from what he’s done before.
“Playing the role of Veer Pratap Singh in Khadaan is truly special and close to my heart. The role demanded me to come out of my comfort zone and portray a role that I have never played before and try the horror-thriller genre. It is a show which is truly fascinating, and I have loved every bit of the process from script reading sessions to research to shooting. I mean, the story does get one engaged, and I hope that audiences like the show," he said.
Karanveer, who plays Mahipal, described the thrill of playing a grey character. He explained that such roles are always exciting because they allow him to add complexity to the character.
“Khadaan weaves multiple parallel stories, each with its own set of struggles and past demons. Viewers will be intrigued to see how the characters navigate their hurdles to find their own truth. Working with this team has been an absolute blast, and I hope the audience appreciates the hard work we’ve put in," he added.
Khadaan premiered on Hungama OTT on March 19.
