Meet Cathode, The Cat Who Loves Extreme Adventures
Adopted from a shelter six years ago, Cathode has accompanied Remy Vicarini on a series of extraordinary adventures.

Many pet owners typically enjoy taking their furry companions on adventures, especially dog owners who take their pets for long walks, car rides and occasional trips abroad. However, it’s a common belief that cats like staying indoors, but this cat named Cathode, is proving everyone wrong. Adopted from a shelter six years ago, Cathode has accompanied Remy Vicarini on a series of extraordinary adventures, including mountain climbing, biking and even paragliding. Remy ensures his beloved pet’s safety throughout these trips, allowing Cathode to explore a range of thrilling experiences, proving that not all cats shy away from adventure activities alongside their caring human companions.
To ensure his feline companion’s safety during their adventures, Remy has showcased his creativity by designing and 3D printing custom helmets made precisely for his cat. The pet owner has made some interesting headgear for his pet, featuring designs such as Iron Man and Darth Vader. Alongside the specialised helmets and visor, Remy also dresses his cat in trendy attire to suit the various weather conditions. Their unconventional journey has garnered attention, particularly after the New York Post shared their video.

Since the video was shared, it has garnered over 50,000 views. Social media users, thrilled by the unique adventures of Remy Vicarini and Cathode, have flooded the comment section with heart emojis.
Earlier, in a conversation with Mirror UK, Remu Vicarini said, “Cathode is a very curious cat, she is also a little fearful but I do a lot of sports and wanted to share it with her. So two months after adopting her, we started cycling. It was great and she loved it. The first time I took Cathode out with me was on the front of a bike in the basket, it was dark and no one could disturb us. Cathode was very curious about all this novelty, she loved it."
“Cathode has never shown her displeasure, she has straight ears, fine pupils, she likes it. The activities that we do together, I know them by heart, so there’s never any risk. She is always attached to me or not too far from her basket and if we’re on a motorbike, she has a helmet to protect her from the wind. We are inseparable, she relies on me and feels safe with me," he added.
Remy Vicarini shared that as he lives near a mountainous region, he decided to introduce Cathode to skiing during winter months. Enthusiastic about paragliding himself, the pet parent decided to include Cathode in this activity as well.
