    Atul Subhash’s suicide case

After Bengaluru techie Atul Subhash ended his life, citing harassment by his wife and in-laws in a 90-minute video and a 24-page suicide note, his brother Bikas Kumar lodged a complaint with the Bengaluru police.

The complaint was converted into an FIR, naming four individuals under sections 108 and 3(5) of the BNS. Following this, Subhash’s in-laws reportedly fled their residence in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur, fearing arrest. Nikita Singhania, Subhash’s estranged wife, was later arrested in Gurugram, while her mother, Nisha Singhania, and brother, Anurag Singhania, were apprehended in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, on charges of abetting Subhash’s suicide.
