Ishitta Arun Reacts To Ranveer Allahbadia's Controversy: ‘A Game Of Freudian Slip Matter’
Ishitta Arun mentioned how swift action was taken against the comedians while other pressing issues remain unaddressed.

Actress Ishitta Arun has shared her perspective on the controversy surrounding Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps, following his remarks on comedian Samay Raina’s now-deleted India’s Got Latent episode. In an Instagram post, Ishitta referred to the situation as a “game of Freudian slip matter," highlighting how an unconscious verbal mistake escalated into a full-blown controversy. She noted that what could have been dismissed as a minor moment instead led to Allahbadia experiencing “second-hand embarrassment followed by the classic apology."
Mocking his response, she said, “’Sorry, I didn’t mean it’ – Bhai toh kyu bola? Chup reh lete." She further added, “Fir kehte hai – ‘Comedy is not my forte.’ Haan bhai, ye toh sabko maalum hai. Nobody expected comedy from you. Not the audience, not your friends, family, not your subconscious even. But fir bhi, full speed se aake lane change ki or aaye seedhe truck ke niche."

Ishitta also gave a sarcastic nod to Samay for letting things unfold, saying, “Hats off to you. Mike diya bande ko and bola ki bol jo tere mann me jo aata hai." She remarked that Samay simply “watched the self-destruction" as it happened.
Ending her video with a sharp remark, Ishitta stated, “The real joke is not this show, the judge, the panel, the contestants or the format – the real joke is on us."
In her caption, she mentioned how swift action was taken against the comedians while other pressing issues remain unaddressed. “Reality truly is stranger than fiction—especially when the government moves faster on this than on actual crises. Priorities, no?" she wrote.
The controversy began when podcaster Allahbadia while interacting with a contestant on India’s Got Latent, asked, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once and stop it forever?" The question was widely criticised for being vulgar and offensive, leading to widespread criticism on social media.
Following the outrage, Allahbadia issued a public apology, acknowledging that his remark was not only inappropriate but also lacked any humour. However, a police complaint was filed against him along with Samay and co-judges Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Makhija. The FIR accuses them of promoting obscene and sexually explicit content.
In the latest update, Samay made a major announcement on Wednesday that he has removed all India’s Got Latent videos from his YouTube channel. He expressed that the situation had become overwhelming, stating, “Everything that has been happening has been too much for me to handle." Samay also assured full cooperation with the authorities in the ongoing investigation.
