In the age when everyone dreams of channelling their inner ‘Jethalal,’ embracing the real struggles alongside the wealth, an ‘unpopular opinion’ has emerged on the social media scene, unveiling the shadows not just behind Jethalal but the entire Gada family from the famous ‘TMKOC’ show. This post, exposing the flip side of our beloved comedy characters, took the internet by storm, sparking a frenzy of responses from the public.

It all began with a doctor, known by the handle @angryoldman27, boldly proclaiming, “Unpopular opinion- In a real world, Tapu should be slapped everyday for his antics, Dayaben should be admitted to a mental asylum and Bapuji should be sent to an old age home. But you are not ready for this conversation." Unfazed, he continued, “Tapu keeps doing “shararat" which for which he is too old to be considered cute. Dayaben suffers from some kind of hysteria. Bapuji keeps undermining his son in front of the idiot Daya and Tapu."

A user threw shade at the sidelined Jethalal, remarking, “Sidelined jethalal, who having a wife still simps on babitaji to lowest of the lowest extent." Another contributor asserted, ““Kids like Tapu deserve belt treatment. Shararat ke naam pe kuch bhi b******* karta rehta tha. Dayaben is okay-ish. Meanwhile, a third voice opined, “I have read the original books in Gujarati by Tarak Mehta & I really liked the characters. So, watched the TV serial a couple of times & never felt like watching again. The serial may have made Tarak Mehta known among non Gujarati readers but has dumbed down his characters."
