Was She Sleeping Or Praying? Anushka Sharma's 'Nap' During India vs Australia Has Fans Wondering
The broadcasters captured Anushka Sharma resting in the VIP stands with her eyes closed.

Anushka Sharma attended the first semi-final of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy to watch Virat Kohli play against Australia at the Dubai International Stadium on March 4. Seated in the VIP stands, the Bollywood actress cheered for the Men in Blue, who notched a dominant win in the knockout clash to reach the final. When the second innings was underway, Anushka, dressed in a casual white t-shirt, appeared to be taking a nap while resting her chin on her hand. The moment was captured on the broadcaster’s camera and went viral in no time.
At that point in the match, India was at 75/2, with Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer unbeaten at the crease. They lost both the openers – Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma – early while chasing 265 on the sluggish Dubai surface. Before the start of an over, the camera panned towards the VIP gallery where Anushka was spotted resting with her eyes closed.

“This is chain ki need (peaceful sleep) as she is confident that Virat will lead the team to victory," commented a person. The video has garnered over 50,000 views and thousands of likes on the X platform.
