Now, people are willing to do anything for quick cash, from dancing and singing to bizarre content; social media is flooded with such material. Some even go so far as to sell their photos for money. One such incident involved a woman who made a similar decision.

A woman, Lucy, made headlines after ‘selling her face’ for £1,500 (around Rs 1.6 lakh) to an artificial intelligence start-up. Initially, she was thrilled with the payment, but when she learned the truth, she was left stunned and now deeply regrets her decision.

    Lucy regretted her decision when, after signing an agreement and submitting several video recordings to help train the AI model, the company revealed they could now use her face however they wanted, without needing her permission. This revelation came after she had spent about two hours working with them.
