American businessman Jeff Bezos, best known as the founder of Amazon, and his fiancée Lauren Sanchez have finalised a date for their highly anticipated “wedding of the century."
The wedding is set to take place in the beautiful city of Venice, Italy, sometime this summer, according to Page Six. Early reports suggested that the couple might marry aboard Bezos’ massive yacht, valued at USD 500 million, in June. This comes two years after their engagement.

A source close to the couple told Daily Mail that the wedding is “still on" and set for this summer, with plans finalised and invitations expected soon, adding that while details remain undisclosed, it is going to be “big."
With invitations expected to go out soon, the wedding is gearing up to be a lavish affair. Sanchez has reportedly chosen her wedding gown, and given her $2.5 million engagement ring, it’s likely the couple will spare no expense for their special day.
In November 2023, former TV host Lauren Sanchez confirmed she would be taking Bezos’ last name, stating, “Uh, yes, one hundred per cent. I am looking forward to being Mrs. Bezos."
In another interview, Sanchez expressed her admiration for Bezos, saying, “He’s so happy, he inspires me every day. He makes me a better person every day. He’s the most loving human I know.
While Bezos told CNN: “Lauren is the most generous, most big-hearted person that you would ever meet… She never misses a birthday. The network of people that she gives birthday presents to is gigantic. And that’s just a small example."
