The top car maker Maruti Suzuki is in the news for all the right reasons today. The company has revealed its sales figures for March 2025 and fiscal year 2024–25.

As per the details shared by the brand, it sold over 1,92,984 units last month alone, which is a decent jump in terms of numbers as compared to the same month last year.

The company in its official release said that in the financial year 2024-25, it has witnessed the highest-ever total sales of 2,234,266 units. This includes the total number of domestic sales of 1,795,259 units, the biggest number ever.

In terms of export business, Maruti Suzuki again enjoyed success as it has reported a spike, witnessing the highest figures of 332,585 units.

Utility vehicle (UV) Segment

Talking about the utility vehicle (UV) segment, some models have performed well, and contributed greatly to overall sales figures. The list includes Brezza, Ertiga, Fronx, and Grand Vitara. These are the key performers for March 2025 with a total sales figure of 61,097 units.

The number stood at 7,20,186 units for the full year. It is still the highest as compared to FY2023-24, where the company managed to score 6,42,296 units.

    As far as the mini vertical is concerned, Maruti sold over 11,655 units of Alto and S-Presso in March 2025. These figures are slightly low as the brand sold over 11,829 units in the same period last year. For the full fiscal year, decent sales have been reported, retailing a total of 1,25,770 units, better as compared to FY2024.
