MI were asked to bat first in the 2025 summit clash against Delhi Capitals. Despite the early departure of their opening pair, Harmanpreet Kaur smashed a quick half-century, with Nat Sciver-Brunt playing the supporting role in the duo’s partnership that has gone past the 50-run mark as well.
With the skipper looking set for a big score and the English all-rounder looking to get herself set, MI will hope that the duo can help the inaugural champions get to a fighting total to keep themselves in the hunt to secure a second title.

Sciver-Brunt played a starring role in the semifinal, scoring 77 off 41 balls, which had 10 boundaries and two maximums to take them to the final with a dominant win.
