NEET MDS 2025 Internship Deadline Extended Till June 30, Application Window To Reopen
According to NBEMS, the NEET MDS 2025 application window is expected to reopen in the first week of April 2025, after the availability of exam centres is assessed.
The NEET MDS 2025 internship deadline has been extended to June 30, 2025. The deadline was initially March 31, 2025, but the Dental Council of India (DCI) announced a three-month extension in a notification dated March 26, 2025.
The DCI stated that the Government of India has decided to extend the last date for completing the internship to be eligible for NEET-MDS 2025 to June 30, 2025. Furthermore, the NEET MDS 2025 exam is scheduled for April 19, 2025, reported Medical Dialogues.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will reopen the NEET MDS 2025 application window for candidates completing their internships between April 1 and June 30, 2025. However, the reopening dates have not yet been announced by NBEMS.
The NEET MDS 2025 application process was conducted from February 18 to March 10, 2025, with the correction window open from March 14 to March 17, 2025, and again from March 27 to March 31, 2025.
According to NBEMS, the NEET MDS 2025 application window is expected to reopen in the first week of April 2025, after assessing the availability of exam centres.
Last year, the NEET MDS 2024 internship completion date was also extended from March 31, 2024, to June 30, 2024.
Candidates can apply for the exam if they hold a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from any institute that is registered with the State Dental Council or has either provisional or permanent registration. Further, a one-year mandatory rotational internship in an approved/recognised dentistry college is required.
As per the schedule, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) will conduct the NEET MDS 2025 on April 19, 2025, with admit cards to be issued on April 15. The results will be released by May 19.
It will be held on a computer-based platform at various test centres across India. The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Masters of Dental Surgery is an eligibility-cum-ranking entrance exam for students seeking admission to various dental or MDS programmes.
The general, OBC category candidates will have to pay an examination fee of Rs 3500. While SC, ST, and PwD applicants need to pay Rs 2500.
