While the overall pass rate has decreased, the trend of girls outperforming boys continues. In 2025, 86.37% of girls passed the Intermediate exams, compared to 76.60% of boys.
Similarly, in 2024, girls had a higher pass rate of 88.42%, while boys stood at 77.78%. Although both genders saw a slight decline in performance this year, girls have consistently maintained a lead over boys in UP Board Class 12 results.
