Social media sleuths had earlier predicted that the Prime Minister was the next guest on Kamath’s podcast. PM Modi told Kamath, as seen in the trailer, that he hopes Kamath’s audience will like the podcast. He later reposted Kamath’s X post and said he hoped people would enjoy it as much as they enjoyed creating the podcast.
“This is the first time I have appeared on a podcast. I don’t know how your viewers will react," a smiling PM Modi said, as Kamath said it was a “huge" thing for him to sit and have a chat with the Prime Minister of the nation.
The trailer showed Kamath and PM Modi possibly discussing similarities between politics, leadership and entrepreneurship. “I am not sure if anyone has discussed this as much," he said.
“In a speech in Gujarat, when I was the CM, I had told people mistakes are inevitable. I too must have made mistakes. I am a human being, not a god," PM Modi said.
Kamath, the co-founder of Zerodha, is also seen asking PM Modi about the current state of the world, with wars raging in certain parts of the world like West Asia’s Gaza and Eastern Europe’s Ukraine.
“We have said that we are not neutral. We remain on the side of peace," PM Modi is heard saying in response to Kamath’s question.
They are also seen sharing a light moment when Kamath makes fun of his Hindi proficiency.
