For months, fans have been speculating about Pushpa 3, especially after the end credits of Pushpa 2 hinted at a bigger, bolder sequel. But there was radio silence—until now. At a recent event, producer Ravi Shankar finally gave fans something to hold onto, revealing that the shooting for the next installment is about to start soon.

He confirmed that Pushpa 3 is definitely happening, but fans will have to wait a while before it goes into production. Allu Arjun is currently tied up with two major films—one directed by Atlee and another by Trivikram Srinivas—which will take around two years to wrap up. So, while Pushpa 3 is on the cards, it’s going to be a slow burn before it hits the floors!
“Pushpa 3 is definitely on! Allu Arjun is presently doing two films with director Atlee Kumar and another one with Trivikram Srinivas. Pushpa 3 will be after these two films. He’ll take at least two years to complete the two films," Ravi Shankar said at the event.
Meanwhile, director Sukumar is also busy with his upcoming film starring Ram Charan, which will take at least two years to complete. With both the lead actor and director occupied, Pushpa 3 is likely to go on floors in about two and a half years. However, Ravi Shankar assured fans that, unlike the delays with the previous films, the team is determined to move quickly this time—aiming for a 2028 release.
“We won’t delay the things like it happened earlier but hopefully come back quickly in three years, so the film will arrive somewhere in 2028," Ravi Shankar concluded.
Talking about the scale of Pushpa 3, Srikanth Vissa revealed that the film will be even bigger and more ambitious than Pushpa 2: The Rule. He also confirmed that the third installment will bring in new characters, adding more depth and intrigue to the story.
