Brad Pitt Hopes To Reconnect With Children This Holiday Season
As Brad Pitt’s birthday and Christmas come near, the Fight Club star wishes he had a closer bond with his kids, especially during this special time of the year.
Brad Pitt is feeling the absence of his children this holiday season amid the ongoing legal battle with ex-wife Angelina Jolie. A source close to the actor admits that Christmas “won’t be the same" for the star. The former couple, who divorced in 2019, share six children, including Shiloh, twins Knox and Vivienne, and adopted kids Maddox, Pax and Zahara. Their bitter custody fight began after their split in 2016. Recently, several of their children have legally distanced themselves from Pitt, as Shiloh even dropped his surname after turning 18. As Pitt’s 61st birthday and Christmas come near, the actor wishes he had a closer bond with his kids, especially during this special time of year.
Speaking with Page Six, an insider said, “Brad is missing his kids and wishes he had a closer relationship with them, particularly with celebrating the holidays and his birthday this month."

The portal also reported that Brad Pitt is feeling “hurt" after his daughter Shiloh officially dropped his surname. She made the legal request on her 18th birthday in May. The source said, “They used to have a good relationship but that’s in the past and it breaks his heart. Brad feels like Angelina has turned his kids against him. He feels like Angelina knows exactly what she’s doing."
The situation became more emotional last month when a source shared that Pitt believed Angelina Jolie’s appearance with their son Knox at the 2024 Governors Awards might have been intentional. The Fight Club star reportedly “finds it a bit coincidental that a judge signed off on the [Chateau] Miraval trial just days before Knox joined Angelina at the Governors Awards. So he really questions her motive for bringing Knox."
Another source revealed that it was Knox’ choice to join his mother on the red carpet. The insider explained that Angelina was proud to see her son by her side, as he usually avoids being in the spotlight. She respects his wishes to stay out of the public eye, but when he asked to join her, she was excited and happy.
Despite the ongoing drama, Brad Pitt is dating Ines de Ramon. Their relationship is becoming stronger as they spend more time together.
