Dia Mirza Condemns Terror Attack In Pahalgam, Calls It 'Brutal': 'Justice Must Prevail'
Dia Mirza condemned the Pahalgam terror attack, calling it "brutal" and urging for peace. Bollywood stars Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Priyanka Chopra also expressed grief.

Dia Mirza has condemned the shocking terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam. On Thursday, the Bollywood actress took to her Instagram handle and issued a statement in which she called the terror attack “brutal". Dia urged everyone to spread peace and sought justice for those who lost their loved ones in this terror attack.
“Our hearts are heavy with grief. The pain we share must fuel our collective resolve—to stand united, to speak louder for peace, and to act against hate in all its forms," Dia wrote and then added, “The perpetrators of this brutal, senseless violence must be held accountable. Justice must prevail."

Dia Mirza further requested everyone to come together at the time of grief and concluded by saying, “Let us come together—as one humanity—and say, enough. We will not let hate divide us. We will not be silent 🙏🏻."
Before Dia Mirza, several other Bollywood celebrities also condemned the terror attack and hoped for peace. Among others, Salman Khan also wrote on Wednesday, “Kashmir, heaven on planet earth turning into hell. Innocent people being targeted, my heart goes out to their families. Ek bhi innocent ko marna puri kainath ko marne ke barabar hai."
Shah Rukh Khan, Siddharth Malhotra, Sonu Sood, Anupam Kher, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra and Allu Arjun also expressed shock and anger over the terrorist attack.
For the unversed, Lashkar-linked terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists in Pahalgam on Tuesday, April 22 afternoon. The incident killed around 27 people. Eyewitnesses told security forces that two to three men rushed in dressed in military fatigues, firing indiscriminately at tourists while they were enjoying the Baisaran Meadows of Pahalgam on horseback. The Resistance Front (TRF), a Lashkar offshoot, took responsibility for the attack.
