Inside Mawra Hocane And Ameer Gilani’s Love-Filled Dholki Ceremony
For her Dholki ceremony, the actress looked gorgeous in a red traditional suit set.
In a fairy tale wedding ceremony on February 5, Sanam Teri Kasam actress Mawra Hocane married her Sabaat co-star Ameer Gilani. The couple, who kept their relationship under wraps for the longest, surprised their fans by revealing the beginning of their happily ever after through a bunch of romantic pictures. The Pakistani actress captioned the post, “And in the middle of chaos… I found you. BISMILLAH 5.2.25."
But the magic did not end there. Mawra has continued to delight her followers on social media by sharing some unseen glimpses from her wedding festivities. The recent set of pictures in her wedding album is from her first Dholki, which is similar to the sangeet ceremony in India. Mawra and Ameer’s family and close friends attended the event.

The post began with an adorable picture of the couple, with Ameer lovingly gazing at his bride while Mawra shyly laughed. In a few pictures on the carousel, the duo was seen posing with Mawra’s sister Urwa and in others their mothers and friends accompanied them. Dressed in a gorgeous red suit set, Mawra opted for green bangles and flower jewellery to enhance her look. Whereas Ameer kept it simple in a Pathani kurta set paired with a brown jacket.
In the caption, the Nauroz actress wrote, “Sharing happiness in reverse// dholki no.1. Sherry Berry Thankyouuuuu so muchhhh for everything!!! We loooove uuuuu, couldn’t have been a better start to our festivities ALHUMDULILLAH." Mawra, who shared the post to Musarrat Nazir’s song Chitta Kukkar Banere, further added, “P.S elated that this song was sung by my Father in law’s Khala & here we are always vibing to it on repeat many moons later #MawraAmeerHoGayi."
In another exciting news, the newly married couple is set to star together in a new Pakistani drama. Mawra and Ameer, who have previously worked together on Sabaat and Neem, will be next seen in a drama titled Agar Tum Sath Ho. Directed by Adnan Sarwar and written by Radain Shah, Ameer will portray the role of an obsessive character in the new romantic drama, whereas Zaviyar Nauman Ijaz will play the second lead. Agar Tum Saath Ho will soon air on Hum TV.
