Fact Check: Did Samay Raina Break Down, Apologise After Ranveer Allahbadia's Controversial Comment?
While Samay Raina is currently in US, recently he issued a statement over the controversy and revealed that he has deleted all episodes of India's Got Latent from YouTube.

Samay Raina has been facing backlash over Ranveer Allahbadia’s recent comments on India’s Got Latent. Amid all this, a video of the stand-up comedian has surfaced on social media in which he is seen breaking down and apologising. “If anyone has a problem with what I said, there’s a feedback form—fill it out and keep it to yourself," Samay said in the viral clip.
However, it has now been revealed that the viral video is fake and edited. The audio in the clip has been used from a November 2023 event where Samay Raina was roasting rappers. At the end of his show, Raina sarcastically told the audience to fill out a feedback form if they had any issues with his jokes. This means that the viral video has no connection to the ongoing India’s Got Latent controversy.

Allahbadia, also known as BeerBiceps, during a recent episode of the show, allegedly asked a contestant an inappropriate question involving body parts and proposed an indecent act in exchange for Rs 2 crore. The outrage peaked when he posed a controversial question: “Would you watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join once to stop it forever?"
The comment left many shocked and disappointed. In no time, the video went viral on social media with many, including politicians and film personalities, condemning Allahbadia’s comment. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you," he said.
