Star couple Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar are celebrating their 20th wedding anniversary today, February 10. To mark the special occasion, the South superstar took to social media and extended a heartfelt wish to his loving wife and netizens can’t stop gushing over their adorable bond.
In the candid snapshot, the two were seen sharing a burst of laughter as they stood next to each other. While Mahesh Babu wore a grey jacket paired with a black t-shirt and a red cap, the actress looked pretty in a cream sweater paired with a blue shawl.

Sharing the post on Instagram, the Spyder actor wrote in the caption, “You, me and 20 beautiful years. To forever with you NSG."
As soon as the post was shared online, the comments section was swamped with heartfelt reactions from fans and celebs alike.
Twinkle Khanna and Sonali Bendre dropped multiple emoticons in the comments. Namrata’s sister and Bigg Boss 18 fame Shilpa Shirodkar commented, “Love forever." Viranica Manchu wrote, “Happiest anniversary to both of you, stay blessed always. And here’s to celebrating a lifetime of love and joy."
Mahesh Babu and Namrata’s love story began during the filming of their 2000 film Vamsi. It was during the film’s mahurat that they first crossed paths and quickly formed a strong connection. After secretly dating for four years, the two decided to tie the knot and got married on February 10, 2005, in an intimate ceremony in Mumbai.
Their family grew with the arrival of their first child, a son named Gautham Ghattamaneni, in 2006, followed by their daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni in 2012.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu is preparing to shoot his next highly anticipated film with renowned director SS Rajamouli. Tentatively titled SSMB29, the film reportedly also features Priyanka Chopra in the lead role. An official release date of the film is yet to be announced.
Namrata, on the other hand, appeared in several big films including Jab Pyaar Kisise Hota Hai, Albela, Vaastav, Pukar, LOC Kargil and more after winning the Miss India crown in 1993. She decided to quit acting after her marriage with Mahesh Babu. Her last appearance was in the 2004 film Rok Sako To Rok Lo co-starring Sunny Deol.
