Mahesh Babu’s children, Gautam and Sitara, enjoy a strong fanbase on social media. Recently, Sitara collaborated with his father for an ad commercial wherein the star kid is seen teaching Gen Z slangs to the star.
About Mahesh Babu’s work front, the superstar is currently working on SS Rajamouli’s tentatively titled SSMB29. Touted to be a jungle adventure, the film is being made with a staggering budget of Rs 900–1000 crores, making for one of the highest projects in Indian cinema. In the film, Mahesh’s character will reportedly be inspired by Lord Hanuman from Hindu mythology.
Reportedly, the film will be released as a two-part venture and the makers are expected to wrap the shoot by 2026. While the first installment is expected to be released in 2027, the second may take some time to arrive and will be arriving in theatres in 2029. Speculations are rife that Priyanka Chopra Jonas will feature as the female lead in the upcoming magnum opus.
Apart from Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra, SSMB29 will also feature Prithviraj Sukumaran in a key role. A video leaked from the movie’s sets saw Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran shooting for a pivotal scene, adding to the hype around its release.
