Highly successful films today gross anything between Rs 500-700 crore and the most successful ones even cross Rs 1000 crore. Till date, there are only 7 Indian films that have crossed the Rs 1000 mark. The first two positions are held by Dangal and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion. Do you know that with the latter, a leading actress became the first in India to deliver a Rs 1000 crore film? Also, it took her more than three decades in the industry to achieve this milestone.
We are talking about Ramya Krishnan, who has predominantly appeared in Tamil and Telugu films, with occasional appearances in Hindi cinema.
