Earlier last week, Rakul took to her Instagram handle to share her official wedding teaser. The video clip featured several moments from their pre-wedding and wedding celebrations. It began with Rakul walking down the aisle to get married to the man of her dreams. The two shared a warm hug before their jaimala ceremony.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also sent a letter to Jackky Bhagnani’s parents, Vashu and Pooja, as the actor-producer got married to Rakul Preet Singh. Rakul shared a picture of the letter with which PM Modi congratulated the family and sent wishes to the newlyweds. “The years to come are an opportunity for the couple to discover each other while also embarking together on the path of self-recovery," a part of the letter read.

A source had earlier revealed, “Rakul and Jacky had initially planned for their wedding to take place in the Middle East. After nearly six months of meticulous planning, everything was pretty much in order. However, following the call from the Indian PM in December urging rich and influential families to choose India as the venue for their big life events, Rakul and Jackky reconsidered their original plans and relocated the wedding to India. Their decision, made in mid-December, necessitated a complete reset, involving the destination, rest, and accommodations. Despite the considerable changes, the couple embraced the overhaul, driven by their love for the country and desire to contribute to its growing economy."
