The film is slated for release in the global market. Amid this, Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s film, Maula Jatt, is headed for re-release in the UK on March 28. Given Fawad’s popularity, the film’s re-release might have a slight impact on Sikandar’s box office performance in the UK markets. However, the final outcome might just surprise you.

Meanwhile, the superstar shared a mic drop statement about his film’s box office performance at the film’s trailer launch. When the host asked him about returning with his film’s release on Eid, Salman playfully said, “Eid, Diwali, New Year, festive, non-festive, it’s the love of the people and picture achi ho ya buri ho, wo sau [Rs 100 crore] toh paar kara hi dete hain (laughs)."
He quickly corrected himself and said that the number is Rs 200 crore. “Rs 100 crore bohot pehle ki baat hain (Rs 100 crore is a thing of the past)," he proudly added.
Meanwhile, Maula Jatt was slated for release in India on October 2, 2024. The film was poised to be the first Pakistani release in India in a decade, with Zee Studios reportedly acquiring the distribution rights. However, its release has been stalled, allegedly due to Pakistan’s ongoing ban on Indian films since 2019, prompting a reciprocal move in India.
The makers had previously announced the news on social media. They had written, “Two years on, The Legend of Maula Jatt is still unstoppable! Witness the epic saga on the big screen in India from 2nd October 2024."
