Salman Khan attended the trailer launch of his upcoming Eid release, Sikandar. The actor spoke about the film, co-star Rashmika Mandanna and expressed gratitude for the love his fans shower on him and his films. At the launch, Salman playfully added how the audience always helps his films cross Rs 100 crore, whether it’s good or bad.

Salman Khan’s mic drop moment began when the host asked him about returning with his film’s release on Eid. “Eid, Diwali, New Year, festive, non-festive, it’s the love of the people and picture achi ho ya buri ho, wo sau [Rs 100 crore] toh paar kara hi dete hain (laughs)," Salman said playfully.

He quickly corrected himself and said that the number is Rs 200 crore. “Rs 100 crore bohot pehle ki baat hain (Rs 100 crore is a thing of the past)," he added.

At the event, Bollywood’s Bhaijaan also addressed his 31-year age gap with his co-star, Rashmika Mandanna. With his usual wit and humour, the superstar said, “Heroine ke father ko problem nahi hain. Kal jab inki shaadi ho jayegi, bacche ho jaenge, aur tab bhi kaam karenge. Pati ka permission toh mil hi jayega na? (The heroine’s father has no problem. Tomorrow, when she gets married and has children, she will still continue working. She will get her husband’s permission, right?)"

Meanwhile, Sikandar director AR Murugadoss had recently shared that the film’s story is completely original and not a remake of any exisiting film. He said that every scene and frame of Sikandar is designed and executed authentically to offer a fresh narrative and experience.

Additionally, Murugadoss highlighted the film’s stunning background score, composed by Santosh Narayanan, whose music perfectly complements the energetic tone and vibrant visuals, adding emotional depth to every scene.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film also stars Sathyaraj, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan and Kajal Aggarwal in pivotal roles. It releases on March 30.
