Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan and Pan-India sensation Pooja Hegde are all set to entertain the audience in David Dhawan’s Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. The duo recently jetted off to Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, to shoot acrucial sequence for their upcoming film. Before heading for the river-rafting shoot at the sacred location, the two were snapped performing Ganga aarti at Parmarth Niketan Ashram in the city. Several videos and photos have now surfaced online.
In the clip doing the rounds on the internet, the duo were seen surrounded by a huge crowd of fans and devotees. Dressed in traditional outfits, Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde were seen happily soaking up the devotional vibes.

Pinkvilla, in its report, mentioned that an industry insider revealed that Varun and Pooja will be in Rishikesh for a 3-day shoot of the movie. “It would be a 3-day shoot, and they would be shooting a sequence of river rafting," the source was quoted as saying.
During their visit, the duo also planted a sacred Rudraksha sapling at the Parmarth Niketan premises on the occasion of World Forest Day. They also received Sangam water and sacred ashes as blessings from Pujya Swamiji.
Directed by the legendary David Dhawan, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai might also see Mrunal Thakur playing a key character. The Ramesh Taurani production promises to be a delightful cinematic experience, and fans are eager to see the duo’s energy and chemistry.
Speaking about their professional commitments, Varun will be once again sharing the screen space with Janhvi Kapoor in Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari in the coming months. Originally slated for a release on April 18 this year, the makers have now postponed the release date to September 12. Written and directed by Sashank Khaitan, the family romance also stars Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul and Akshay Oberoi in key roles. Besides Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai and Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Varun also has Border 2 and No Entry 2 in his pipeline.
Pooja Hegde, on the other hand, also has a busy year ahead with some of the exciting projects. Her lineup includes major South Indian ventures such as Suriya’s Retro and Thalapathy starrer Jana Nayagan, cementing her position as one of the most in-demand stars across industries.
