Zayn Malik has canceled his Mexico City concert due to severe food poisoning, leaving fans heartbroken.
Zayn Malik has been forced to cancel his highly anticipated performance in Mexico City due to a serious case of food poisoning. The Dusk Till Dawn singer was scheduled to take the stage on March 28, 2025, as part of his ongoing Stairway to the Sky tour. Despite efforts to push through, Zayn ultimately had no choice but to call off the show for the sake of his health.
Taking to Instagram Stories, the singer shared a heartfelt message with fans: “I’m heartbroken to say that I won’t be able to perform tonight in Mexico City." He explained that he began feeling unwell earlier that morning and, despite doing everything he could to recover in time for the concert, his body wasn’t up for it.

“I’m so sorry to let you down," he continued. “The love and energy I always feel from my fans mean the world to me, and it hurts deeply to miss this moment with you." Zayn also thanked his fans for their patience and understanding, signing off with a message of love to his supporters in Mexico and beyond.
Later that evening, Zayn issued an update revealing that not only he, but also members of his team had been affected by the illness. “It’s no joke," he wrote. “[I’m] still struggling."
The cancellation has come as a disappointment to fans, especially considering this tour marks Zayn’s return to live performances after several years away from the stage. His Stairway to the Sky tour, which began in November 2024, is his first official tour since launching his solo career after leaving One Direction.
