Billions of internet users face a massive password leak for their accounts with LinkedIn, Twitter and Tencent among others. The report this week suggests one hacker has managed to expose 10 billion passwords which is one of the biggest ever leaks that we have ever heard about.

The details provided by Cyber News this report says that a user named ObamaCare has exposed a massive dataset of 9,948,575,739 unique passwords and this dataset is already available through popular hacking forums which is likely to raise the alarm bells for the law enforcement agencies.

The dataset called RockYou2024 has been compiled over 10 years, the researchers at Cyber News have pointed out, and most of the details available through the dataset includes stolen passwords from billions of users.

The report doesn’t mention which platforms are affected by this latest password leak but users across the internet need to be aware of possible phishing attempts and even hijacking your account since they already have the details of your digital existence.
