A video that recently surfaced on social media proves this point and has caught the attention of many. It features a Delhi-based woman who found herself in an unusual situation when her cab driver suddenly fell sick in the middle of the trip. What happened next was a quick-thinking response that earned her praise online.
The woman was travelling with her daughter, grandmother and mother when the driver started feeling unwell. They were stuck in the middle of the journey with no immediate help available. Then, the woman decided to take control of the car and continued the trip.

“We were travelling from Gurugram when the driver fell sick midway, so I had to take over. If you know how to drive, you can help someone in need," she explained in the video shared on Instagram.
In the video, she also urged people to learn how to drive so that they are not left helpless in situations like these.
“My message to you all is please learn to drive for situations like these," she said in the video. According to the video’s caption, the incident happened on March 18.
Since being shared online, the video has gained significant traction as it accumulated more than three lakh views. The social media users praised the woman for staying calm and handling the situation well.
One user commented, “Aap kafi samadar hai. Esi ko insaniyat kehte hai. Aap jaise logo ki wajah se hi duniya chalti hai (You are very compassionate. This is what humanity is all about. It is because of people like you that the world keeps going)."

This isn’t the first time a routine ride turned into an emergency. In an earlier incident, a Rapido driver named Vikas was praised online for helping a pregnant woman who went into labour in his cab. He was on his way to drop the woman and her husband at the hospital when she suddenly couldn’t wait any longer. Understanding the urgency, he stepped in to assist with the delivery before ensuring they reached the hospital safely later that night.
