Union ministers, politicians across the party lines on Tuesday hailed Rohit Sharma-led team India after the Men in Blue posted a 4-wicket win over Australia at the Dubai International Stadium to seal their place in the final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 as they chased down a target of 265 with 11 deliveries to spare.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah lauded team India’s efforts and said, “What an incredible display of skill and determination!! Team India marches into final with a roar. Congratulations to our boys on their thrilling victory in the ICC Champions Trophy Semi-Final. You made the nation proud. Best wishes for the final," he said on X.

Union Health Minister and BJP President JP Nadda also congratulated men in blue on their impressive victory against Australia in the semi-final.

“Into the Finals! Heartiest congratulations to the Indian Men’s Cricket Team on their impressive victory against Australia in the semi-final. The Men in Blue have once again showcased exceptional teamwork, determination, and class. Wishing them all the best to continue this winning momentum and bring the trophy home," he said on X.

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju said, “Congratulations Team – India on the spectacular win over Australia in the #ICCChampionsTrophy Semi Finals. A dominant performance that made the nation proud. Wishing the team all the best for the finals. 🇮🇳🏏," he said on X.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi also congratulated team India on reaching into the finals of the Champions Trophy by defeating Australia.

“Another fantastic victory by #TeamIndia! A true spectacle of skill, determination, and teamwork—brilliantly led by Rohit, with Virat adding his signature flair. The entire nation stands proud of this incredible achievement. One step away from glory—bring the trophy home, boys! #ChampionsTrophy2025," he said on X.

Congress Party also lauded team India and said, “The Indian cricket team has reached the final of the Champions Trophy by defeating Australia. Team India has achieved this ‘huge’ victory due to the strong performance of all the players. Congratulations to all the players for this wonderful performance and best wishes to the team for the final. Jai Hind," it said on X.

Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi lauded Rohit Sharma led India Cricket team and said, “Rohit Sharma led India Cricket team makes it to the finals! Congratulations Team India! Let’s win the finals, Captain Sharma! India is cheering for you!"
