A total of 611365 students appeared in the BSEB inter exams 2025 of which 505884 passed while 105481 failed.

The official marksheets will be distributed by schools soon. These mark sheets will serve as valid documents for college admissions and other official purposes.

Bihar Board has announced that students who wish to apply for re-evaluation or scrutiny can do so from April 1 to April 8, 2025. If dissatisfied with their marks, students can request a review of their answer sheets. Additionally, the application window for the Intermediate special and compartmental exams will also be open during this period. Results for these exams will be announced by May 31, 2025. Students can submit their BSEB 12th scrutiny forms from April 1 to April 8, 2025. They have the option to request scrutiny for one or more subjects. During this process, answer sheets will be thoroughly reviewed for accuracy, and marks will be recounted to ensure a fair and updated evaluation.

In the Bihar Board Intermediate Annual Examination 2025, the overall pass percentage stands at 86.50%. Among the total candidates, 5,08,540 students secured the first division, 5,07,002 passed in the second division, and 91,788 achieved the third division.

For girls, a total of 6,37,797 appeared for the exam, with 5,59,097 passing, resulting in a pass percentage of 87.67%. On the other hand, 6,42,414 boys appeared for the exam, and 5,48,233 passed, leading to a pass percentage of 85.34%.

The BSEB has announced that the online examination forms for the Intermediate Special Examination and the Inter Compartmental Examination can be filled from April 1 to 8. The board has set a target to declare the results of these examinations by May 31, ensuring that students who appear for them do not lose an academic year. This year, the Bihar Board has set a new record by declaring the results of 12,80,211 candidates within just 27 days from the date of evaluation. The Intermediate Annual Examination 2025 concluded on February 15, and the evaluation of answer sheets began on February 27. After checking over 68 lakh answer sheets and OMR sheets, the BSEB has declared the results today. This achievement marks the seventh consecutive year that BSEB has successfully declared the results in such a short span of time, a record not seen in the country.

This year, the Bihar Board has introduced a new system by printing separate copies and OMR sheets with barcodes and lithocodes for each subject. These sheets feature the name and photo of each student, ensuring better identification and accuracy. The pre-printed copies, along with the barcodes and lithocodes, were successfully implemented in the Bihar Board exams, marking a significant improvement in the process.

Students who are not satisfied with the marks they have received in any subject from the Bihar Board Class 12 results declared today, can apply online for the scrutiny of their answer sheets.
