NEET UG 2024: The choice filling and choice locking process will commence tomorrow, December 23 at 11 AM. It will close on December 24 at 11 am.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET (UG) 2024 special stray vacancy round 3 counselling schedule. The choice filling and choice locking process will commence tomorrow, December 23 at 11 AM. It will close on December 24 at 11 am. Candidates who cleared the NEET UG 2024 exam can check the schedule on the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.

The seat allotment result for the special stray vacancy round 3 will be declared on December 24. After being assigned a seat, a candidate must report to the specified college to finish the admissions procedures. Candidates must carry the original copies of the designated documents when they report to the designated college. Candidates who are allotted seats in this round must report to their respective colleges between December 25 and 30 by 5 PM for document verification.

      The Education and Health Ministries are currently deliberating on whether to conduct the NEET-UG medical entrance exam next year in pen-and-paper mode or shift it to online mode. A decision on this matter is expected soon, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said last week. The Education Ministry has held two rounds of discussions with the Health Ministry, led by Union Minister JP Nadda.

      Meanwhile, the National Medical Commission (NMC) has revised the syllabus of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2025. The detailed syllabus can now be accessed on the official website of NMC at nmc.org as well as on the official portal of the National Testing Agency (NTA) at nta.ac.in.
