The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the application deadline for the Group D Recruitment 2025 process. The registration for 32,438 Level 1 positions will conclude on March 1, 2025. It was earlier scheduled to close on February 22, 2025. The Closing date and time for application fee payment is March 3 (23:59 Hrs). The application correction window will remain open from March 4 to 13.
According to the revised eligibility criteria, the minimum educational qualification is now 10th grade, with the ITI diploma requirement dropped for technical posts. The age limit for applicants is between 18 and 36 years as of January 1, 2025. Acknowledging the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, a one-time age relaxation of three years has been granted by the board.

RRB Group D Recruitment 2025: Application Fees
An application fee of Rs 500 is applicable for general category candidates, refundable upon appearing for the CBT. Candidates from specific categories including PWBD, female, transgender, ex-servicemen, SC, ST, minority communities, and EBC are required to pay a reduced fee of Rs 250, also refundable post-CBT.

RRB Group D Recruitment 2025: Selection Process
The selection process involves a Computer-Based Test (CBT). Besides, physical fitness remains a key requirement. Male candidates need to lift 35 kg for 100 meters within 2 minutes and run 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds. Female candidates are required to lift 20 kg for 100 meters within 2 minutes and complete a 1000-meter run in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
Through the recruitment drive, RRB will hire for Assistant Bridge, Assistant C&W, Assistant Depot (Stores), Assistant Loco Shed (Diesel), Track Maintainer, Cabin Man, Pointsman, and other positions.
