Exit Poll 2024 AP: Pollsters Predict Chandrababu Naidu-led NDA's Landslide Victory In Andhra Pradesh

AAP MP Sanjay Singh reacted to Exit Poll reports that showed over 350 seats for the BJP-led NDA and said it was “prepared in BJP office”.

“This exit poll has been prepared in the BJP office… Who will believe that BJP is getting a 34% vote share in Tamil Nadu? Who will believe that AAP is winning 0-2 seats in Punjab?… The ‘Janta ka exit poll’ based on the figures shared by INDIA alliance leaders in today’s meeting says that we will win more than 295 seats… I am surprised that only 400 seats are to the BJP (in the exit polls). They could have given 700, which could have been possible from ‘Akhand Bharat’… The BJP has done a huge ‘hera pheri’ (foul play) and to hide that, such numbers are shown in the exit polls…” he said.

On Exit Polls, Shiv Sena leader Manisha Kayande said, “The Exit Polls are full of hope… The results on June 4 would be even better… We will see Modi’s magic for the third time…”

On Lok Sabha exit polls, RJD leader Manoj Jha said, ” I have seen many exit polls, but my political party and I never believed in these exit polls. We have several examples of it…channels have instructions from PMO, and they have spent a lot of money…I have been a part of Tejashwi Yadav’s campaign…this campaign has created a wave in the ground among people. There were 2 options with them, either there will be ‘Mujra and Mangalsutra’ or a war for employment…against inflation.”

On exit polls, RJD leader Mrityunjay Tiwari said, “We do not approve of the exit polls. This is just to put psychological pressure… We have seen Tejashwi Yadav being greeted by a crowd of lakhs of people… We want to tell our supporters and our party workers to wait until the 4th of June. INDIA alliance will form the government and we will get more than 295 seats…”

The INDIA bloc will win at least 295 Lok Sabha seats, said Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge after the alliance leaders met at his residence in New Delhi to discuss the future plan of action as the General Election concluded on Saturday.

“We will win at least 295 seats. This is people’s survey and based on that we are getting more that 290 seats,” said Kharge at the press conference of the INDIA bloc.

While the results of the Lok Sabha election 2024 are due on June 4, most pollsters, including PMARQ, C-Voter, and Chanakya, have predicted a majority win for the NDA with over 350 seats, easily crossing the halfway mark of 272 seats.

The ruling BJP seeks a third straight term under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The BJP has set an ambitious “400 paar” seat target for the NDA.

“The man whose exit is certain on June 4 has had these exit polls orchestrated. The INDIA Janbandhan will definitely get a minimum of 295 seats, which is a clear and decisive majority. The outgoing Prime Minister can remain smug for three days in the meanwhile. These are all psychological games he is masterminding but the ACTUAL results will be very different,” senior Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said in an X post.

YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president and chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy (Pulivendia), TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu (Kuppam) and Jana Sena Party (JSP) chief and actor Pawan Kalyan (Pithapuram), are some of the key candidates in the Andhra Pradesh assembly poll race.

According to an Exit Poll survey by S-GED, TDP+ is likely to win 139 of 175 Assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh. YSCRCP, on the other hand, could win 36.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday thanked voters who exercised their voting rights in the Lok Sabha election 2024.

“A heartfelt thank you to all those who exercised their franchise. Their active participation is the cornerstone of our democracy. Their commitment and dedication ensures that the democratic spirit thrives in our nation,” PM Modi wrote in an X post.

PM Modi further slammed the INDI alliance saying they only “enhanced their expertise on one thing- Modi bashing”.

“The opportunistic INDI Alliance failed to strike a chord with the voters. They are casteist, communal and corrupt. This alliance, aimed to protect a handful of dynasties, failed to present a futuristic vision for the nation. Through the campaign, they only enhanced their expertise on one thing- Modi bashing. Such regressive politics has been rejected by the people,” he said.

According to an Exit Poll survey by RISE, TDP+ is likely to win 92-102 of 175 Assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh. YSCRCP, on the other hand, could win 48-60.

Andhra Pradesh has a total of 175 seats with 88 being the majority mark. Exit poll results by Peoples Pulse and TV5 Telugu have predicted a majority for TDP+ in Andhra Pradesh Assembly polls.

Peoples Pulse has predicted a majority for TDP+ in Andhra Pradesh Assembly polls with 111-135 seats. YSRC, on the other hand, is likely to win 45-60 seats.

Andhra Pradesh has a total of 175 seats with 88 being the majority mark.

The exit poll results for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh, suggest a huge victory for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

BJP-led NDA is likely to win 19-22 seats of the total 25 in Andhra Pradesh while the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) could win five-eight seats.

According to TV5 Telugu, Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP is likely to win over 161 seats in the state, while YSRCP could get restricted to 14.

Andhra Pradesh has a total of 175 seats with 88 being the majority mark.

INDIA bloc parties on Saturday announced that they would participate in the exit poll debates on television this evening after its top leaders met and deliberated on the issue at Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge’s residence.

The development came a day after the Congress said it had decided not to participate in any Lok Sabha exit poll debates on television channels.

The exit poll results for the Andhra Pradesh Assembly Election 2024, which seeks to elect 147 members to the state Legislative Assembly, will be released today. The voting for the state assembly elections was held in a single phase on May 13.

The exit polls will begin only after 6:30 pm IST today, after the last vote for the Lok Sabha Assembly Election has been contested, as the Election Commission of India (ECI) has prohibited the distribution and broadcasting of the exit poll till the completion of the election process.

The ECI strictly bans exit polls from being conducted during the voting process, however, they are allowed to be published 30 minutes after the last vote is cast. As per the rules, exit poll data cannot be released before 6:30 pm on the day of the last round of polling.

The voting for the seventh and the last phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 is underway in 57 parliamentary constituencies spread over eight states and union territories. After the completion of polling, the exit polls will be released at 6:30 pm today.

Political strategist Prashant Kishor has predicted a huge loss for incumbent Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s YSR Congress Party in Andhra Pradesh.

He said his party would lose the assembly elections as it can only win 51 seats.

The ECI strictly bans exit polls from being conducted during the voting process, however, they are allowed to be published 30 minutes after the last vote is cast.

As per the rules, exit poll data cannot be released before 6:30 pm on the day of the last round of polling.

The first exit poll was conducted in India in 1957 when the Indian Institute of Public Opinion conducted a post-poll survey during the second Lok Sabha polls.

In 1996, the state-run broadcaster Doordarshan roped in CSDS to conduct exit polls nationwide.

Andhra Pradesh Police stepped up security across the state on Saturday as exit polls are set to be released following the completion of the seventh phase of polling.

“There may be chances of violence once the exit polls are announced. An alert has been sounded across the State and instructions have been issued to maintain visible policing and intensify patrolling,” the Hindu reported quoting a senior police officer.

The result will be out once the Election Commission of India (ECI) completes the counting process on June 04.

Expected time of release in the evening of June 04, 2024 or early morning of June 05.
